Sewing Room-More Jars and Containers

Sewing Room-More Jars and Containers *

Moving right along in the sewing room today, put a few more items up and sewed some. Boy do I just want to sew.

*

Here are a few more pictures. Rotary cuter and scissors have a little home. I found this container at WalMart-$6.00.
*
My tags that I make to put on my handmade items have found a little home instead of a plastic bag. The green and orange containers I found at Hobby Lobby, 1/2 off. I think for both of the next two containers were under $10.00. The orange one has all my embroidery designs stored away.

*

Now this picture is for a project I'll be showing how to make tomorrow. Now it might take all day, so look for it in the evening. I sold these in the shop and don't have one myself. Can't wait.

Keep Stitchen'

Love the WalMart find and oh that green one with your tags is terrific. I have a mug on my cutting table that keeps falling over because the rotary cutters are top heavy! Now I'm going to look for something cute.

Your collection of storage containers are great. I need to get out and look. The tin is really neat. :)

Bonnie, You have inspired me. I have been saying for months I need to get this craft/office/studio made up more efficiently. Now...it turns out...(shhh...big secret for now) that I may have to make it a guest room too. Getting started is the hard part. :) Hope all is well with you and yours. xo Lynn

(my word verification is repro - how appropriate is that!)

Looking great, Bonnie. You can never have too many containers...I mean pincushions. Shoot, I'm all confused. (wink)

Hi Bonnie!

I really like that rotary cutter holder you got at Wal-mart! I have never seen one of those.

I like to do lots of sewing and crafting, too. It keeps us curious and creative, I think.

Congratulations on your new grand-baby.

Love the container for the scissors and the two wooden baskets. I think I need to be more observant when I'm at Walmart.

Hi Bonnie,
LOVE your suit case project and your sewing room jars:) I love jars myself and have some buttons in them and ribbon. I really need to get my craft room done..it's still cement blocks and 1 outlet...it's very SAD...too many things to do...Not enough time.
Warmly,
deb :)

Hi Bonnie, Thanks for sharing your organization tips. I got a 4 drawer file cabinet last week at a yard sale and I'm working on putting all my books and patterns in it. That will keep them from getting dusty and be a lot more organized I think. I have redwork in one, applique in one, and pieced in the other two. I still have a little more work to do on those but it's freeing up some shelf space that's sure going to help. blessings, marlene
