Purses

I was looking at blogs, from one to another one, to another one. It all started with http://stitchinbythelake.blogspot.com/ post to my blog. I just kept reading and I forgot why I got online, to post my purse picture. I'm lucky I got it complete due to electricity going out today for about 5 hours and I'm in Texas. It was hoooooootttttt and I sure wasn't going to sit at my treadle machine to make it. Well here it is and I wish I wouldn't have put the frayed red material on the handle, I might take that off and just paint it. The purse is really simple to make and Stitchin By the Lake has one she has made. It's a cutie. I'm posting two purses. I finished the other one I'm putting online.

This one would be great for the friend that has everything-Cottage Beach Theme.

These girls are best friends.

Just quilting on this side.

Pockets all on the inside with flamingo's .

I think your purse is really, really cute. I love rick rack on anything so that caught my eye - I think I'll try it on my next one. But the one with the picture I cover, no not covet that's a sin, want to copy! I have an old picture of high school friends. It would be so fun to put that on one! Blessings, marlene

Bonnie

They turned great. I am partial to the second one.

It's hot here as well. In the high 90's. I haven't had air conditioning so the fans are going strong.

The purses are really pretty. I made a quilted tote bag once from a pattern. LMAO Okay I had to make two to get one I could give as a gift to my mother inlaw. She loved it, but I was a beggining sewer and well...embarrasing is all I can say. I think I will stick to dolls and knitting/felting

Hi Bonnie, I love the beach & girlfriends purse. Great job. Sounds like you have had bad weather too. We had such strong winds that it took out 17 electric poles on the loop & 2 lights @ an intersection by walmart. They had the loop closed for 2 days. The wind not only blows during the day, but has been gusting awful at night. Keep up the great work on the purses! Hugs***Renea
