It was 23 degrees last night and stayed freezing almost all day, so look who got to come in and stay by the fire. She doesn't look to excited, but believe me she's not moving. They are even predicting snow and sleet starting Thursday evening. Gypsy has never been house trained and she either looks at you with sad eyes or stands by the door when she wants to go out. Such a good dog. I hope you are all staying warm. Our group of ladies that sews on Thursday had to cancel, so you know it's COLD! Living in Texas we don't know how to deal with the cold weather, now heat, that's something different. Keep Stitchen' Bonnie
LOL - I completely understand. We're cold here in AZ, too. We've had a very bitter cold wind today. We're not used to this - 100+ is more our style. LOL
I DO understand. We lived in TX for 7 years and I remember coming to work in boots & a down parka one of the few times it snowed and everyone was so in awe of my attire!
awwwwww.....isn't she cute - and picked out the perfect spot! I'm sorry to say the cold weather MUST have come from a friend of ours from Ohio...she just moved to Texas last fall...we're sure it was her that brought your cold weather down :) Keep warm Bonnie!!
I can really relate to the cold. The good news we are suppose to get up to 40 degrees this weekend. Much better than the -5 we had early in the week. Hope you stay warm! I hope you are getting a lot of sewing done.

When entering the welcoming warmth of my grandmother's home, her quilt frame had to be moved away from the front door to make room for family and friends to gather. With this in mind, the door is always opened to welcome you.
I have been married to my best friend for 35 years. We have been together since the 7th grade, which at that time I came home and told my Mom who I was going to marry. She just laughed. We have 2 children, a son and a daughter, who is married. We feel her husband is one of ours and they gave us three of the grandest grandkids anyone could ask for.
I love to be creative in all areas, but love to make something out of finds from estate sales to flea markets (trash to treasure). I'll be taking pictures of before and after shots and instructions on how some of the items are made. Sewing is my relaxing hobby. I started in the 5th grade summer.
I know all of us who are creative have big dreams and I hope all of yours come true.
I am blessed to have received so many tags/awards in the past. I feel bad when I cannot do them all justice and hate the thought of some friends feeling left out when they are not chosen. All my blogging friends are special and important to me, so therefore, I request to remain tag/award free.
