I'm working on the quilt from class and jelly roll block!!!

x
Remember the class I took last weekend, well, I'm working on the applique around the quilt but changed the design up a little. I don't know why but I usually change up something. Still need to add the flowers all the way around the quilt. I've had the Moda brushed cotton for awhile and plenty more to work with for future projects. Really like this look. I'm beginning to like modern, primitive, traditional, you name it.

Also worked on the second Jelly Roll block finally. I can't wait to finish this one for my sewing room.

Hope you all have a great weekend,

Jelly Roll Sampler Quilt Block and Updates in the Shop on Wednesday

x
I really liked sewing the Jelly Roll Sampler 1st Block. Just click the picture on the sidebar if you want to check it out. Can't wait for the next one. I wanted to do a quilt for the sewing room and thought this would be perfect. The designers are so talented so it bound to be great.

My plans for tomorrow is to sit here and update my shop and Etsy, well today. It's already 1:00am, have I ever told ya I'm a night owl.

I made this log cabin for a sample using the Moda Honey Bun-Kansas Winter. All I added was the center piece, 3 1/2" square and the rest is the Honey Bun, so you can see all the colors in it.

The other quilt is a work in progress for a baby. Moda Honey Bun-Arcadia, which I love, is used on this one. Still have another border or two to add, not sure. I hardly ever use a pattern and just start sewing, I get in trouble sometimes by doing this. I had a disaster the other day on a purse I was working on. Garbage it needs to go, I don't know if I can salvage it at all.

Happy dance today, my grandbaby took her first steps today and guess who she was walking to. Her MiMi.
