Cherish Your Mom-Happy Mother's Day

Cherish Your Mom-Happy Mother's Day

This weekend is always hard for me, even though I'm a Mom. I miss my Mom everyday. We talked each night before going to bed and knew what we both wanted to say even if other ones didn't understand. It's been 3 years but seems like yesterday.

So all I can say, is Cherish your Mom each day she is with you.

I love you Mom,

Bonnie, I know exactly how you feel, it has been almost 3 years for my Mum too and the bond although never ending is so hard to keep when its a tollcall to heaven isn't it. Good thing Mum's are telepathic.

Bonnie, let me tell you that it does not get any easier over time. My Mom has been gone for close to 30 years and I still miss her. She never knew her grandchildren, which makes me sad.

My Mom has been gone since 1991 and I still miss her, but it will not hurt all the time, it will turn into I miss you and remember when we....I talk to her a lot!!

I am also part of the "missing my mom' club....mine died in 1989 of breast cancer that spread and she ended up having stomach cancer, too. She did get to see her grandkids but not her great-grandkids. I have two girls....one chooses to be estranged from the family, so I don't see her and the other lives a few hours away and has to work all this weekend (works at a hospital), so it will be "just another weekend" for me.

awllll Bonnie.. I feel your sorrow. Time does help to ease the pain but I don't think we ever stop missing them do we. I was 24 when my mom passed away after a short battle with cancer. It's been 11 years.

Like mine, your mother had beautiful white hair. I only hope one day I have a head full too ;)

loved your little redwork snowman in the post above this one.

Love from Orange,
Bonnie
