Don't do this!!!
Well I have a wonderful recipe for you, but don't do what I did.
My Salsa
1 Large Can of Rotel Tomatoes
1 Can of Rotel Hot Tomatoes
1 tsp Cumin
1TBS Cilantro
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Black Pepper
Put in blender or food processor and mix. Heat in Microwave, but not for 5 minutes...
This is what could happen
I had no idea the bowl was going to fold up and spill all over my arm. OUCH!!!
I had Salsa on the ceiling, cabinets, counter across the kitchen and all over the floor. I was raised where we always laughed when things like this happened. After I yelled OUCH, I did start laughing and cleaning. Sharon, this is good to eat on a diet too. Just not with chips.
It really is good Salsa, just don't heat it for 5 minutes.

Oh dear, I'm guessing you must have heated it before you put it into the blender. Hope you put something on that burn......
Ouch...Bonnie,
Did you put ice on it?? I hope you don't get lots of blisters.
The salsa sounds good and if I make it, I'll be very careful:)
Have a great week!!!
Warmly,
Deb :)
Oh no! That looks painful! We are like you in my family. We always laugh even when it hurts. Why do we do that? We laugh when we fall too. Do you do that.
Hugs,
Joanne
So sorry about your arm-OUCH is right......the recipe sounds great!!
yowza! maybe that's why my mom trained me on no plastic containers in the microwave. i hope your poor arm is doing better. see if you can't find something with silver sulfadiazine in it - it will help heal it faster and help with the residual pain too (this one was discovered when my niece put her hand on an electric stove burner that was on).
Bonnie, I hope your burn heals fast. I don`t use plastic in the microwave anymore and I`m very careful about the steam after being burned a few years ago.
Take care.
oh, my goodness. That looks painful. What a CALAMITY! Hope the burns were not too severe..........
oh no, that really looks like it hurt. i've done that before but trying to make tea. thank you for the salsa recipe, i will try that. we love salsa.
Bless your heart Bonnie!! Looks like 'no laughing matter'...;-)
Hope it feels better soon! I stopped using plastic in micro when son and I tried to do fudge and the dish melted along with the chocolate!! That was many moons ago when micros were HUGE things!
Take care now.
