OK Gustav Go Away!!!

I haven't been to anyone's blog lately because we are under mandatory evacuation! Well my husband got stuck out at work and there is so much to get done before a storm comes in. All the pots, chairs and anything that can fly has to be put away. Well, remember me telling you we are having a building built. The frame is up and all the metal and supplies had to be tied down. Generator connected, so we are able to keep the ice boxes running and a small window unit running in the bedroom, this hott momma can't handle the heat-am I complaining enough...Anyway I'm still at the house and not too many left on my street. My DH keeps calling and checking on me, I think I got to hot today.
I've been watching the weather and my brother-in-law is an officer, so he is keeping us informed. I will leave if needed and if we are out of electricity I'll get online as soon as I can. My prayers go to the ones that are in Gustav's path and that you may all be safe.

I'm praying for your safety and that you will have little (or no) damage from Gustav. I live in Florida and have been very fortunate, but they are scary things. I hope that you can return to your home soon.

Oh you and all in your area will be in my prayers. I grew up in Florida, so I am no stranger to the wrath of these storms. Although they seem to get stronger and more powerful every year. I hope you and your family are safe.
