What I worked on this weekend

What I worked on this weekend
x

My husband and son went to work on their deer lease so I had all day Saturday to play. I just love those days. Bought hamburger meat to grill for when they got home, so I didn't even have to stay in the kitchen. Yea!!!

Sewing room here I come. I needed some little gift bags for a couple of friends and thought since fall is in the air, the embroidery design would work on some weaver cloth I had.

Another baby quilt with Texture Magic. One of the shops I visited, had lots of quilting fabric but no one to make a sample for the product. So I volunteered. I will think twice next time on this offering. But I know it will help them sell the product. Very easy, but I need more time.

This is a beaded pillow I'm making, still working on this project.

This is a sneak peek of a pattern I've made. Hope to have it up on Etsy soon. It's finished, just have to learn how to do a PDF file.

I know I didn't post pictures of our guild meeting and there is a reason for it. I was in the show and tell line and forgot all about taking pictures of all the other quilts. I'm bad...

Bonnie, those bags look lovely embroidered on the weavers cloth. Someone is going to be very happy with their gifts for sure.

Love the bags. I bought some texture magic but didn't use it yet. Did you have trouble with it? You seem to regret having offered to make the shop sample using it.....if you have any tips or advice, I'd love to hear it before I use some of mine. Thanks!

Love your gift bags. I purchased some of the texture magic but have not had a chance to try it. I think it's great to see everything you have been making with the product. You're so creative!

Sounds like you are having fun with the Texture Magic. I see it in the bag with the beading. The Bubbly Babies looks great in the fabrics you chose, too.
