Not A Good Day

Not A Good Day
x

A young 16 year old pulled out in front of me yesterday and totalled my car. Sore, but just thanking God no one was hurt bad. She didn't have any information with her and I had to call and find out all the information needed to make the claim today. Patiently waiting for the call backs. It's so hard to get anything taken care of with just one phone call. Insurances sure have changed. At first the policeman said she was 15 and then 16, I guess we will see on the report. So young, just maybe this will open her eyes for the future.

I'm going to have a giveaway and will post about it next week to celebrate a new adventure. Check back for all the details.

hope you aren't sore for long... I worry every time my 17 year old goes out in his car. They just don't have the skill at that age.

Bonnie I'm so glad you weren't hurt or the girl for that matter, but what a pain for you to have to deal with all the "stuff".

Bonnie, so glad to hear no one was hurt badly. Having been in a head-on collision myself, I know how frightening car accidents can be.

Looking forward to the details of your giveaway! How fun!

Oh my Bonnie - I am so sorry! I know it was scary and frustrating at the same time. I'm thanking God for your safety! I got your PIF gift and absolutely love it! Perfect colors for my kitchen. I would have e-mailed you but I lost your address - or it's hiding from me which several of my e-mail addresses are doing right now. :( The apron is a perfect fit and a perfect gift for me. You know me well. :) blessings, marlene

Lucky no-one was seriously injured. I hope you're not sore for too long and your car is repaired quickly. I hope the young girl has learnt a valuable lesson, let's hope next time she's behind the wheel she pays alot more attention.

While the good news is that no one was hurt, there is still the fact that you have the inconvenience of reparis and being without a car. Here's hoping that everything goes smoothly for you and all is solved very soon.

How scary for you. So glad everyone is ok. I personally think kids in the US shouldn't get a license until they're 18. And cell phone usage and texting should be banned while driving worldwide! Off my soap box now.

Oh Bonnie....I do hope you are ok. What a scarey thing to happen. I had my car totalled a few years ago...and it shook me up a bit. Take care of yourself. So glad nothing serious...besides the car. Hugs to you!!

Bonnie!!
Bless your heart. I am betting was very scary for both of you!! Glad no one was hurt though.
Don't take much anymore to total a car...not like the big heavy ones of my youth!
Yes hard way to learn a lesson but let us hope she did!
Hope all goes will with the insurance too.
Hugs,
Lola

Glad you are not hurt too bad. I was in the same situation 6 months ago except the person who hit us was an illegal and no license. Thank goodness the registered owner had insurance

What a pain in more ways than one but trust it is one of those things that somehow in God's wonderful way, turn out for our good.
